King of Pop, Pt. 2
Who is it?
One of my favorite subjects to draw is people. But people are hard to draw. If you don’t get every little element of the face right, the drawing will look a little off. Portraits really come down to details. I thought I did a pretty good job on this one, but my sister and my husband couldn’t guess who this was.

C’mon, it’s Faith Evans! I did draw it a little differently than the inspiration photo, though. It just goes to show that it takes a lot of work to draw a good portrait.

Here’s a book I picked up to help me out a bit. It has some really good advice to help you draw that face correctly every time.

King of Pop, Pt. 1
A quick, not-so-detailed MJ sketch from 1998.

Sherman, Sherman, Sherman!
This drawing is from ’98, I think. It’s my attempt at Eddie Murphy’s “Nutty Professor” character Sherman Klump. Fun stuff.

Self-portrait
Here’s a self-portrait I did back in 1998. Apparently I had some pretty big glasses back then.
